Obama stem cell order “a sad victory of politics over science and ethics”.
According to the Catholic News Agency, the Cardinal explained:
” that embryonic stem cell research is wrong due to the fact that it destroys “innocent human life” by “treating vulnerable human beings as mere products to be harvested,” and also noted that the executive order “disregards the values of millions of American taxpayers who oppose research that requires taking human life.” “It ignores the fact that ethically sound means for advancing stem cell science and medical treatments are readily available and in need of increased support.”

The general public believes because it is what the big media (ABC, NBC, CBS, New York Times etc. ad nauseum) has told them is that the Bush administration was anti-science and being lead only by moral and emotional issues.
The facts are that the science is sound for NOT using embryos for stem cell research.
The facts are that this is only another attack on the sanctity and value of human life.
If we can hide the murder of innocents in the noble efforts to ease the pain and suffering of paralytics and others then eve extreme pro-lifers might think it is OK.
It is not.
It is murder.
It is not necessary and the purveyors of the murder industry will never tell the public.
You might reasonably ask,” why don’ the media tell the public this?”
Because, they are lazy and have bought completely into the lie that a woman’s right to decisions concerning her body trump all other concerns so it must be right.
